Following is the policy related to web hosting--Web hosting expiry and renewal You should renew your web hosting package two months before the expiry date. Order for renewal of web hosting package is processed only after actual realization of payment. In case of cheque or wire transfer or online bank transfer, order for renewal is processed after the actual receipt of payment. Hence you must take care of making payment well within the expiry date to avoid any problem. Please note that in any circumstances order for renewal will not be processed before actual receipt of payment.
If not renewed then on the expiry date as mentioned on the invoice the web hosting account goes automatically into inactive state whereby the website and emailing gets inactivated. We retain the web hosting account for maximum up to a period of 12 days after the expiry date as per Invoice. To activate your account during this 12 days period an Rs. 500 is charged extra. Hence if you wish the renew your hosting package then you must make payment well within the time frame so that your hosting package can be renewed. After the 12 days of expiry we delete the web hosting account and any data or emails related to hosting account becomes un-restorable. During the inactive state neither the website resolves nor the emailing works. We do send the automated reminders regarding expiry dates of your hosting accounts, however it is completely your responsibility to keep a check on expiry dates and make timely payment as advised.. Web hosting account data backup We offer backups on only our Premium Managed Category Servers. Backup is taken once daily. Oldest possible backup that can be retrieved can be of 12 days from current date.
Backup feature is not available on our Standard Category Servers or Budget Category Servers hence those particularly web hosting on our Budget Category Servers and Standard Category Servers must take regular backups of their web hosting accounts to avoid any data loss in case of any problem with server. |
